Vitra Akari 10A

The Vitra Akari 10A is a table lamp from Isamu Noguchi's Akari series, made by hand in Japan from washi paper stretched over a bamboo ribbing and supported on a slender metal stand. The paper shade diffuses light into a soft, even glow with no harsh glare. It suits anyone who wants gentle ambient lighting with a sculptural, mid-century presence.
